Gas Prices going down - how convenient, but it makes me go hum...what changed since last month when gas was $4.00? I'm not complaining about paying $2.68 this morning but what did I miss? Just last month gas was increasing at a rate of five cents a day and oil was selling at $134 a barrel and rising fast. I watch the news daily and don't know of any new oil being discovered...is it perhaps more to do with the upcoming election? Bush having to cover his tracks and take back all his little "deals" with the oil companies since the clock is ticking and his days in power are soon over (not soon enough). I'd like to look at Bush's financial portfolio today and compare it to when he came into office. How many millions/billions has he and his right-hand man, Dick made while sending this country into a recession and adding a few more countries to the long list of countries that's “lost respect” because of our politics.
This one last hurrah with bailiing out the credit lenders and Wall Street with a hefty $700 billion "Gift" ought a make the history books as one of the dumbest things a president has ever done! The "experts" say it was needed, sure because it might effect their jobs. Why not bail me or other struggling small business owners out instead so they could keep their companies. This $700 billion is bailing out a handful of huge privately owned companies with CEOs and CFOs pulling in salaries in the millions. Why not just cut their jobs - they obviously weren't doing their jobs -get rid of them, and what about the idea of the government taking over some of these institutions - gee sounds like it already happened; work less; don't do your job correctly and gotta job for life. I'm sure every stinking one of them will still be getting those holiday bonuses! If the government is so concerned then start monitoring what these companies like AIG are really doing with the federal tax payers money.
The national unemployment rate now at 6.1%. They could have kept a hell of a lot more people employed if they "bailed" out the little guys, small business owners. The damage is already done for too many "little guys" like myself – our dreams our gone when the company dissolved with the dream of independence.I can't see how helping out Wall street is gonna benefit my life any time soon. When both presidential candidates where asked how this bailout was going to help the middle-income population during their last big debate, neither Obama or McCain I think adequately answered that question butinstead skated around it.
The re-financing relief is another thing that is all fine and great for those who got stuck in an out of control adjustable rate loan but hows that's gonna help the millions of unemployed with paying for that re-financed mortgage? We need jobs with pay rates people can live with. Have you checked the pay rates lately? I made more in the 80's than I am now and I just paid $4.99 for 5lbs of potatoes on sale and $3.69 for a gallon of milk on sale. I'm still waiting for the falling gas prices to be seen in our food prices.
It will be interesting to see what our new president is going to do to turn this economy around. I'm one of many undecided voters still waiting for an "ah ha" moment as to who I should place my trust; both Obama or McCain have some good ideas but I don't hold much weight on words these days. The thought of Sarah Palin as our new VP might just be a bit too much for me to have faith in, but, I am sure am having fun watching the late night talk shows pick them apart.

Breast Enhancement Surgery-Not
Is there any hope for us less than "gifted" woman anymore? Every year I would scrape and save the five-thousand dollars needed for my Breast Enlargement surgery only to spend it in emergencies for my car and lifes other little emergencies so I have never reached my goal. Then I read more about Breast enlargement surgery.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), was the fourth most popular invasive surgical procedure among cosmetic plastic surgeries performed in 2000. In a press release dated July 12, 2001, the ASPS says that breast augmentation was performed on 212,500 women last year.
Meanwhile, millions of women have been subjected to the ill effects of these modern day vanity contraptions that were bought in good faith.
Remember!! Silicone gel implants were banned in 1992 by FDA.
If you have (or had) a ruptured silicone breast implant, you will be denied Health Insurance Coverage.
Saline-filled implants tend to have a higher rate of leaking and deflation than silicone gel implants, which means more frequent surgery to replace them.
In a study published in the Lancet medical journal, Dr Lori Brown of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says: "There is emerging consensus that both the incidence and prevalence of breast-implant rupture are much higher than previously suspected."
21% overall increase in cancers for women with implants, compared to women of the same age in the general population.
Implant patients were three times as likely to die from lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia as other plastic surgery patients. The study is based on medical records and death certificates of almost 8,000 women with breast implants, including silicone gel implants and saline implants, and more than 2,000 other plastic surgery patients. ( National Cancer Institute (NCI), Boston University, Abt Associates, and the Food and Drug Administration, with Dr. Louise Brinton from NCI as lead author. )
I smoke, and after reading about that I was sortof glad that I had all these emergencies and saved myself that expensive, I'd only be running to the Dr. to remove them. I went and tried this stuff and after a month my breasts are already bulging out at the top of bra...they're plumpy; it's doing something. I can't imagine I'm gonna grow from an A to a DD anytime soon, but alittle more and good for me. For more information visit:Breast Actives.

Pre-Menopause Blues
“What the hell is happening to me?” I thought staring at a tired, pimple faced reflection of myself wiping tears from a gray reflection of what used to be me. I stumbled back to bed feeling ugly. The alarm clock illuminating a red 1:35AM reminding me of my need to sleep.
Welcome to my world of pre-menopausal blues. I didn't know whether to feel blessed or cursed being born a female? I felt cheated; after 32 years of cramps, bloating and a steady week of pre-post bitchiness that was at times a welcome constant in my life. I should have just kissed it happily goodbye and sent it on it's way; why wasn't I happy about coming to this new stage of my life?
I've always been a bit of a drama queen; known for my overly emotional responses to just about everything so it was easy for me to hide my severe mood swings. I was pretty good limiting my crying fits to my drive home from work but it was hard to hide other things happening. A lack of sleep was getting the better of me. I looked tired, had pimples, felt fat and that steady week of bitchiness was increasingly growing for no reason. Something had to give, I was driving people out of my life.
I went to my doctor for help and left with nothing more than a confirmation of my “pre-menopause”. I've never been a person to take drugs unless it was obsoletely necessary but I needed help fast and sleep. I came across an All Natural Health and Beauty site and found something called Menozac. The ingredients were simple and all natural which I liked. They offered a 90 day guarantee and gave me 3 bottles free just for buying one so I took a chance and tried it, I had nothing to lose. It's been 3 months since I started taking Menozac, I am so happy that I took a chance, I'm now able to sleep and look and feel like myself again.

More What... Orgasms
Wow I want more orgasms! This sounded too good to be true or so I thought when I stumbled upon a simple little website bored one day stating "YES you can have more Orgasms". Hell, whoever this was sounded like me during my uneventful marriage and now at my age of "forty-something" my hormones seem have reverted back to my teenage years where sex is right up there with food as an essential need in my life so I took a chance and spent the 4.99 for this ebook. Within a minute after paying for this valuable information I was eagerly reading my way through this guide. Within the first 5 minutes of reading I was butt naked prancing around my apartment gathering my "needed" supplies. I'm pretty comfortable with my self so it was pretty easy for me to jump right into achieving my objective...more orgasms. The pictures alone was working me up and raised my eyebrows a bit. It's a good thing I live by myself, I don't know what my boyfriend would have thought of me propped up on my bed naked spread eagle tending to myself. Oh hell he probably would have loved it but this was not the time for him, but me and my mission to find that magic spot. After a few freak out thoughts of what the hell am I doing and laughing at myself it happened - omg my entire body shook like a branch. This was different, not just an ah ah; so I did it again! All I can say is I'm now making up on all my missed opportunities for good orgasms and my boyfriend is loving it... Now I'm wearing him out. If you want to see what I'm talking about check it out here A Woman's Guide to More Orgasms.
Wasteland USA
Being one of the millions of "unemployed" struggling to find a decent paying job in an ever decreasing job market with salaries that are moving backwards faster than our ecomony I struggle to understand the reasoning behind the policies of Home Depot that I recently learned during an interview with "Paul". After quitting a job with the federal government because I was so disgusted every day at the amount of money that was simply written off because people didn't do their jobs and the "I don't care" attitudes I found it very surprising to find out the private companies, such as Home Depot throw away perfectly useable materials ranging from wood to electronics. During my casual interview with Paul he told me how they were required to throw away many items that were either dented or scratched. Employees can't even buy the products at a discounted rate and employees are forced to just toss things away. Now I must be an idot because I can't find any financial benefit to that. First, they are just adding to our landfills and they are paying for the product they are throwing away and again to pay to dump it. I understand liability and our sue-happy country but I think Home Depot would be better off donating the stuff to non-profit agencies who could benefit from it or maybe have an "as is" section of the store where it's sold at a discount would make a hell of alot more sense to me. I'm no lawyer or business executive so I may be missing something but with the rising concerns of our environment I don't feel Home Depot is doing any justice by feeding our landfills with stuff that could be used elsewhere.
